RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) – Fossils institute in Brasil are from a crocodile resembling a super armadillo that was a beast in the Atlantic around modern-day Sao Paulo land 90 meg eld ago, researchers said on Tuesday.
The 6.6-foot-long (two-meter-long), 265-lb (120-kg) crocodile, titled the "Armadillosuchus," appears to hit been unequalled to that area, the researchers at metropolis de Janeiro's Federal University said.

"The Armadillosuchus is exclusive institute in the inland of Sao Paulo land and this is a surprise, part because it challenges the intent that crocodiles are institute in blistering and humid climates," UFRJ philosopher Ismar de Souza Carvalho told reporters.
"In this case, they are crocodiles that springy in a status that is quite hot, parched and arid," he added.

Researchers displayed fossils from the crocodile at a programme word in Rio, including the head, ribs, and foot. The fossils were prototypal institute in 2005.
